This is America and we love Tiger Woods or perhaps better stated this is planet earth and we love Tiger Woods, well, until now. And so the implosion begins.
Our hero, our idol,our super human Tiger that each and every one of us aspires to have something in common with or better yet a sexual encounter. How has America been excluded from knowing the real Tiger for so long.
It has been a mere 15 days and we have already moved into the double digit sexual encounter chapter. Is this chapter going to get longer and are we as consumers of this mega consumer icon going to accept that and continue to buy into the products that he pushes?
To accomplish his wins on the Blonde Bimbo Tour ,Tiger had to have a team of willing indivudials that saw no evil, heard no evil and surely could speak no evil. In my experience a team like this usually requires a nice compensation for their efforts of having no memory at all, a job well done.
Granted people make mistakes and we will just call this for now a HUGE one. But Tiger's unexplained absence from the planet earth at this moment is his next big mistake. His fans are falling away in droves and if he can't face them now he will never be able to face them on the golf course.
If Tiger is smart, which I think he is, he should call a press conference, shed some tears and ask his fans for forgiveness so that he can walk down a fairway without being tackled by that one over righteous fan that is pro-marriage-forever.
We all know how hard it is to make a good golf shot when someone is blabbing during your backswing. Now imagine Tiger on the 1st Tee at Torrey Pines and the 5,000 or so Tiger fans gone bad decide that they can't keep their mouth shut during his backswing...Note to fans..(Please wear protective head gear at all tee boxes when Tiger is on that tee) I know for myself that I do not want to be standing on the 1st at Torrey Pines when it's Tiger's turn.

It is not like Tiger is a preacher or a Congressmen, he is after all in sports and these things happen.
The media attention is only blowing this out of proportion. If they would back off, then maybe Tiger to work it out.

Isn't it just a sad state of affairs? Someone with that much talent and that much GOOD in his life and he has to shoot himself in the foot! I'm a firm believer though in something I heard the other day - cheaters are cheaters and they don't necessarily do it because "they can" which obviously he can - but because they are so insecure. So something must be wrong there somewhere in him - but what a role model NOT! I guess he is if you go by the idea that he is just human but kind of makes me even angrier at how we idolize all the wrong people in our society. Ah well - hope he can salvage something out of this but guess we'll all have to stay tuned, eh? Personally I think we should all think of other more important things on the planet than his big fat ego or lack thereof!
